This Week's proceedings.

I know you're probably getting sick of food pictures. But hey! I am happy with how my cooking is developing!

Yet another mirror picture. I was satisfied with my appearance.

I am so busy. But I LOVE it. Is it terrible for me to say I adore school? Like I enjoy learning. Especially for Anatomy and Physiology haha

This is my best fran at college. It just so happens she's also my roommate.

Preston and his family came to visit his sister! He took me on a date and did dishes. WOOT WOOT!

And yesterday I went Latin dancing which was super fun:) I know my sister would be proud of my Salsa moves!

Some Little stories

Once upon a time, I had a long night of studying coming up. So how did I help myself?? I made an entire pot of nobakes... and ate it. Can't really blame my roommates for thinking I'm crazy.

Once upon a time my roommates are super crafty and cute and so I joined in and made this.

And once upon a time, we all have bad days. Just listen to this because everything will be okay!

Spuddays. All Day. Every Day.

Okay so last weekend, my roommate and her friend and her family and my other roommate and I all piled into the car and went to Shelley, Idaho for Spuddays. SO MUCH FUN!

So they filled this giant pit of Mashed Potatoes and played tug of war over it.... I think you're probably underestimating how much mashed potatoes there were. They had the mashed potatoes stored in a cement truck for goodness sake! That is A LOT OF POTATOES.

This is our awesome team before. Back when we thought we had a chance at winning.

Well, we lost and I ended up covered in mashed potatoes. Such is life.

My Fellow College Students...

Today I want to talk about how good college eating can be. And let other college students know there are so many ways to eat healthy on a small budget. Mondays are ridiculous. I have a lab from 9:45-11:45 and then math from 2-3 and a lecture from 4:30-7. Needless to say, I have little time to cook. So I have to pack my dinner.

But seriously, doesn't that look good? It's super easy!!!

Exhibit A: Chicken, Salad and Green Peppers.
Chicken: Buy frozen chicken (pretty cheap) and marinade with orange juice, garlic and onion salt. Fry it up and put the leftovers in a bag for the rest of the week!
Salad: Spinach is a lifesaver. Good on anything, full of nutrients and pretty decently priced. Add some feta (the most expensive) and strawberries. Then put poppysead dressing on top. Honestly these ingredients tend to go bad faster. So split the cost with a friend and share! Roommates can be the best when you need to make grocery runs.
Green Peppers: Super yum. Super Healthy. Super Cheap. Like 59 cents cheap.

Apples and peanut butter: Pretty self explanatory. It's a great source of sugar and protein and can be inexpensive if you buy the right apples. That's all for now folks! Tune in next time:)
