Every Year Gets Better.

I love today. New years Eve is all about celebrating what was for a night, then moving forward. I loved this year. I can only imagine what crazy things are in store for this year. Here are this years' highlights!

The puppy.

Legally Blonde.

My final play.

Graduation.

Having this girl move in and become one of my best friends.

Becoming an adult (legally of course, I'm never actually growing up.)

My FIRST live concert.

Becoming an aunt two times overs.

Baby showers. Even though it's pretty much the same thing every time, you still love them.

Becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant.

College visits... which lead to me my eventual choice!

Starting college.

Having these people as my roommates.

Summer adventures with three of my favorite people. All we did for two weeks was have fun.

Sweden. Which changed my life.

This was new years eve last year.

Finals Finale

I am so close to being done with my first semester. I have one more paper and two more tests and THAT'S IT! I am grateful for all of the tender mercies this semester. I could not have learned this much or done this well or had the opportunities I had if it hadn't been for a lot of prayer and mercy. Luckily this week hasn't been too stressful. Here's some fun things I've gotten to do amidst the chaos...

Christmas with the roommates:)

I could hardly handle the excitement of Secret Santa.

One of my best friends went into the MTC today.

He's going to be a stellar missionary. I'm so proud of him!

And even though I have a paper due at 8 tomorrow morning that I haven't started, I still went out and got frozen yogurt and colored. Clearly, I'm living the dream life.

Secret Santa and Other Festivities

Our apartment had our own little Christmas celebration yesterday. We ate dinner, opening presents and sat and told each other how much we love and appreciate each other. I know. Super cheesy. But I mean it when I say I love them!

-15 degrees? Bring it on.

So recently it got so cold here that the electricity went out and they had to cancel morning classes. It was a huge tender mercy. I was starting to get the flu and being able to sleep in really helped me get back on my feet. But before I talk more about the arctic temperatures here I have some other pictures and adventures I haven't had time to write about.

One adventure I haven't had time to document. We lit some old pictures on fire for my roommate. We may be a bunch of girls but we were acting like 12 year old boys.

After Thanksgiving break we all came home to a blanket fortress. It stayed up for a few days and we had lots of fun being little kids again, but it had to come down for clean checks.

Brennan and I went to "BJ's Bayou" in Roberts, Idaho. Population: 581. It was a little Cajun restaurant but it was legit. We're standing in front of the Alligator cage there. Yes, a real live alligator. We ate gumbo, hushpuppies, alligator and crawfish. It was soooooo good and so much fun.

One thing I already miss about home: My nephews. This is us watching Elmo. It's a serious business.

And this is the process of getting ready to brave the cold this morning. It was -5 degrees and I had to walk to class.

I felt like the kid from A Christmas Story. hahah stay warm everyone!
