7 Classes = an intense schedule

Basically, school is kicking my butt. I'm doing pretty well but between Anatomy and Physiology and Chemistry, I have very little downtime. But I do really love those classes. My teacher writes the FUNNIEST notes, and tests.

Really? The whole world?

Conjugation is like the Mafia apparently.

Here's a little funny story for the week. Last Tuesday I went to straighten my hair, and the straightner had broken and way over heated. It burnt my hair and made it look like cotton candy.... and the straightner doesn't even heat up anymore. It's a lose lose situation. I've been banned from doing anything to my hair in attempts to bring it back to life. Consequently I've been wearing it half up a lot and trying to avoid brushing it.

Welcome to my world.

And then we had adventures...

Monday, we had school off. That day consisted of sleeping in, doing homework, rock climbing and pranking. Yeah that's right, I pulled a prank! And a good one. Dalton and I definitely pulled off the best harmless prank that's ever been done!

No I'm not eating the rope. I was just belaying like a champ!

Dance your woes away.

Last weekend some friends and I went to a huge dance party. And we danced for like two hours straight. It was intense. School is going well, but keeping me busy. Between New Testament, Book of Mormon, Humanities, Chemistry and Anatomy and Physiology there is ALWAYS something to be done. But I like my classes and I'm still finding time for fun, clearly.

We're on the far left. Look for the green pants.

It was a nice break from the grind.

This needs to stop.

So I'm really bad about wanting to cut my hair and sometimes I just do it. Yesterday was one of those days.

I just love short hair. It's kind of a weakness.

The Snow that NEVER melts

In Rexburg, even when the snow melts, it doesn't. Basically I feel like I'm living in an ice rink. And I've got the Rexburg Shuffle DOWN!

Look at my icicle wand!

Getting Close.

I am almost finished with my mission papers. Today my roommate took a picture for me to upload on my papers.

I look pretty official, huh? It's so exciting!

A little update...

Here's a little update on my life via poor quality webcam photos. Ready, set, GO!

I've been working on paperwork to be able to be a missionary for our church! Part of that means that I have to go to a doctor to make sure I'm in good shape. Due to immunizations, I will have to wait until at least March to put in my papers.

But I'm feeling VERY peaceful and excited about the timing of things in my life.

I was definitely not excited about coming back to school, but since I've been here I've caught the vision again and remembered how much I love learning. My classes are great. My roommates are wonderful. I feel very blessed and like there have been so many tender mercies in my life recently.

This quote has meant a lot to me recently. It is true! Hang in there!

Back to the grind

Unfortunately I must return to school and hard work again. I'm not going to lie, I'm way bummed about it. I loved being home and with my family. On new years day I went snowboarding with my Dad and Nephew. It was good fun but we're all sore haha.

Also here's new years eve.

Pile of snow gear.

It was a long but very rewarding day.
