Modeling and Stressing.

My roommate is an art major. And  really talented one at that. So she wanted some practice. And so I said I'd model for her. She made me look so cute!

Pure talent. So why am I stressed out? I have FIVE tests next week. Yeah, so that's a huge bummer. 

The times are changin'!

What I've been doing during February for the last few years: 

February 2011: Celebrating the end of a successful musical.

February 2012: Getting ready to act onstage. 

February 2013:Sitting in rehearsal 

February 2014: Studying, studying studying... okay so really the only change is that I've stopped acting hahah. But I LOVE my major so all is well. 

Maybe a slightly sad realization too that I don't look any older haha. Maybe I won't age ever!

So for my humanities class we had to take landscape photos.... I'm not artsy at all but this is what I came up with.

TGIW (Thank goodness it's wednesday)

Yesterday was a long day. I was in the testing center 3 separate times and on campus from 3-7:30 studying/taking tests. Chemistry and Anatomy and Physiology are plotting quite effectively to put all their tests and assignments on the same day. But I will live to see another day, and for now, Wednesday has been pretty kind to me.

Oh and flashcards are the bees knees.

I know a lot of people hate Valentine's day. But I still had a great one! We had our apartment door "heart attacked." And the pick up lines were flawless;)

Why I love indexing

Okay guys, I'm about to get on a little soapbox. I used to hate family history and I wouldn't even consider the idea of indexing. But last semester a really good friend of mine just sat me down and told me how to do it. I still wasn't in love with the idea but I was willing to try.... THEN this semester a different friend got asked to lead the service activities for family history and he knew nothing. So I sat him down and showed him indexing. He then invited me to come to the family history service night every Wednesday. And then I became hooked. I began to learn more and teach others. As I did so I felt the people whose names I was working on. I was able to stretch and read documents I NEVER thought I would be able to. It doesn't feel like a burden anymore. I look forward to it.

It's a party! Just try it!

Live Music

Last weekend my mama and I went to some live music and it was AWESOME! I love getting out and watching people do what they love.
