The Weekend and craziness that ensued...

So this weekend I got asked on a date, but being the punk that I am sometimes I complained and said I wasn't going to go unless I got invited in a better way than text.... So what do I find left on my porch?

It was pretty much the most creative thing. 

And after my fun date we had a Halloween party. This is our tough girl squad.

We are all so different but adorable!

How to make a day better

So last night I stayed up until 2 a.m.reading for a class and woke up at 7. I then went to class and took the pre-quiz. I had NO IDEA what the question was about even though the teacher said it was one of the easiest quizzes we've had. Anyway I got a zero. About half way through class I realized I had READ THE WRONG CHAPTER! Oh I was not happy haha. Then I went to take a test that I was expecting to get 100% on and got a 90%. Not bad at all but I was still mad at my false confidence. Anyway I was tired and grumpy and done with the day. But then.... I took a nap (sleep problem solved), talked to my roommate (she's a lifesaver) and .....

We made cookies.

Also this is our makeshift Mancala board. It's pretty much the coolest. 

 Megan's cookies had a little bit of trouble hahah It basically turned into one giant cookie. 

And then tonight I went to BYU-I's Halloween Orchestra performance. It was amazing! I loved the humor and fun of it, plus I'm a sucker for any kind of beautiful music. And, man, these people were so talented. All is well my friends. All is well. 

Good. Better. Best.

Roommates are good. Kind roommates are better. But my roommates are the best. 

I love every single one of them as individuals. I'm so grateful for their examples and I love them dearly.

I am so busy. But I LOVE it. Is it terrible for me to say I adore school? Like I enjoy learning. Especially for Anatomy and Physiology haha

This is my best fran at college. It just so happens she's also my roommate. 

Preston and his family came to visit his sister! He took me on a date and did dishes. WOOT WOOT! 

And yesterday I went Latin dancing which was super fun:) I know my sister would be proud of my Salsa moves!

Some Little stories

Once upon a time, I had a long night of studying coming up. So how did I help myself?? I made an entire pot of nobakes... and ate it. Can't really blame my roommates for thinking I'm crazy.
